WW Construction Contract offers a range of services to meet the varying needs of our clients on projects of all types and sizes. Some of those services are described in detail below. However flexibility is the most competitive feature of our company and we tailor what we provide to meet the unique requirements of each individual client.

1. Preparation of Contract Documents

We offer the services of preparation and analysis of contract documents, programmes, tenders, specifications and warranties, together with advice throughout the process can ensure that your chances of successfully completing a project are significantly increased. In addition we can draft, for you, the tailor-made contract conditions and supplementary agreement to suit your particular situation.

2. Project Management

Unexpected problems emerge daily in construction, and we possess the experience and expertise necessary to offer realistic, cost-effective solutions to these problems.

Our project management services can cover the whole projects from their inception to completion including:

  • To provide on a day-to-day basis such contractual advice and assistance as may be necessary in relation to the client’s project.

  • Vetting/reviewing of previous as well as future correspondences relating to the project which may have contractual implications and suggest remedial measures that may be adopted.

  • Providing contractual advice for the effective planning, implementation and management of the project and various project milestones.

  • Assisting the Client in monitoring and reporting project progress using internationally acceptable methods.

  • Rendering of all such advice as may be necessary in relation to any disputes between the client and third parties.

  • Preparing all necessary documentation and representing the client before any court/tribunal on such terms and conditions as may be mutually agreed in a supplementary agreement.

  • Drafting the relevant agreements, if need be, and assisting in negotiating the agreements with third parties in order to reach a mutually acceptable agreement.

  • Providing expert advice and consultation to the client in relation to FIDIC form of contract in particular and/or any other form of contract in general.

  • Rendering of such preliminary advice and assistance as may be necessary in relation to the client’s entering into legal arrangements with third parties.

  • Undertaking a future risk analysis relating to failure to complete by the completion date, insurance obligations, default in timely payment by the Employer and its consequences, return of Retention Money etc.

  • Suggest measures that may be adopted to improve the contractual management systems in place.

  • Identification of the client's requirements

  • Drafting contractual correspondence with all project stakeholders like the Employers, the Engineers/Consultants, Subcontractors and Suppliers

  • Assisting the Companies in monitoring and reporting project progress, Claims (Cost & EoT), IPCs, VOs, MoU, MoMs etc.

  • Preparation of Cost, Extension of Time and other Claims for the Companies/Governments to be submitted to the Engineer/ arbitrator.

  • Translation and interpretation of court & legislative notices and their solution.

  • Compliance with statutory requirements

  • Quality control

  • Settlement of final account.

  • Administration of Project handing and taking over

  • We can send our staff to the client’s project team, either on-site or in its head office, or arrange regular visit to site to understand the problems, give practical recommendations and prepare all necessary correspondence.

3. Quantity Surveying

We provide traditional quantity surveying in all aspects including cost advice, procurement strategy, tender evaluation, cash flow analysis, measurement from drawings, payment application, valuation of variation and etc.

4. Final Account Settlement

We can give assistance to you in preparation of Interim and final Payment Certificates/accounts (IPCs). We will provide 'value-added' assistance to locate additional monies that may have been missed by the site team. When necessary, we can present to and negotiate with your employer and/or employer’s consultant, the Interim and final accounts directly on your behalf.

5. Claims Preparation and Analysis

We are equipped to handle the claims in both liability and quantum including extension of time (EOT), prolongation cost, disruption, acceleration, overheads recovery, loss of profit etc. Our knowledge and experience will ensure that when preparing, defending or settling a claim you will achieve a fair and equitable settlement in the shortest time scale possible.

6. Arbitration and ADR

Arbitration has been a widely used alternative to court proceedings for construction disputes. It is less formal and far more flexible, yet it is as thorough as litigation. It is usually much quicker and less expensive, and the privacy of the parties to the dispute is maintained. We have the expertise to represent our clients and handle the whole process throughout the appointment, preliminary hearing, pleading to the hearing stage.  We also have close link with solicitors firms and counsel (including QC in UK) to work as a team to provide the most comprehensive services to our client in arbitration.

7. Expert Report

Quite often it is necessary to employ the services of an expert witness on quantum issue when involved in a dispute resolution process such as arbitration and litigation. The role of an expert witness is to use his expertise to provide the court or tribunal with an independent opinion on a case. We can provide you with experts on quantum who not only have expertise in their field but who also familiarise with the proper protocol and procedures. Our expertise and experience combine to give the best possible support to your case.

 

8. Litigation Support

We provide a full range of litigation support services which span through the analysis of the dispute, drafting pleadings, witness statements and correspondence, discovery, pre-trial, trial, and post-trial activities which are all taken up and handled by our in house qualified solicitors and barristers. We can recommend solicitors firms and counsel who are all specialized in construction litigation to represent our clients in their litigation.

 

9. General Consultancy

Preliminary consultations to identify the case are free of charge. Further in-depth discussion with our consultants can be arranged either on time-charge or contract basis.

10. Seminar and Training

Knowledgeable clients who understand the construction process are better prepared to make decisions, which helps to eliminate many potential problems, as well as being prepared when problems do arise. In view of this, our professionals regularly give seminars and lectures at professional and educational institutions to help clients become educated in the construction process. We also provide custom tailored training programs directly to clients at their locations.

12. Construction Services

WWCC offers a complete package of construction services including civil works, electrical works, mechanical erection works and instrumentation & control works. The company management carries extensive experience of executing multi-disciplinary projects under very challenging conditions throughout the region. A large pool of trained human resource including management, engineering, commercial and technicians is available to WWCC for deployment on its projects. Similarly, the company has access to a large fleet of equipment and plants which can be mobilized on projects on short notice. Adequate resource availability coupled with matured management systems facilitates implementation of complex projects in a structured manner.

13. Procurement Services

These include construction material (sand, cement, steel etc.), construction machinery & tools, dumpers, excavators, cranes, vehicles and trollies etc.
